Conversion tool

Peptide reconstitution calculator

Convert an already prescribed dose into the corresponding volume based on vial strength and the amount of diluent added.

iThis tool performs arithmetic only. It does not recommend which peptide to use or what dose to administer.

Calculation inputs

1. Prescribed dose

Enter the exact dose provided by a clinician or current prescribing information.

2. Vial strength

Total amount of lyophilized peptide stated on the vial.

3. Diluent volume

Total volume added to the vial after checking the product instructions.

4. Syringe capacity

The units calculation applies only to a U-100 insulin syringe: 100 units = 1 mL.

U-100

Physically confirm that the syringe is marked U-100 before interpreting the unit result.

FORMULA

How the result is calculated

Follow the complete calculation using your currently selected values. If you change an input above, this example updates too.

01

Concentration

First, calculate how much peptide is in each milliliter: total vial amount ÷ diluent volume.

5 mg ÷ 2 mL= 2.5 mg/mL
02

Volume

Next, calculate how much liquid contains the prescribed dose: dose ÷ concentration.

0.25 mg ÷ 2.5 mg/mL= 0.1 mL
03

U-100 units

Finally, convert the volume to U-100 syringe markings: mL × 100.

0.1 mL × 100= 10 U-100
Before using the result

Verify the vial label, dose unit, actual volume added, and syringe type. Concentration may vary by preparation, product, or specific instructions.
